Harmanpreet Sekhon is a registered Professional Engineer and a Transformer specialist focused on ensuring reliable, field-proven performance of high-voltage equipment.

He brings utility-side Quality Assurance experience from BC Hydro, with a focus on strict compliance, risk-based inspections, factory acceptance test witnessing, and supplier evaluations of complicated high-voltage power transformers and shunt reactors.

His engineering background spans power transformer and reactor design and testing, including advanced electrical calculations, impulse studies, and short-circuit analysis, developed through complex, high-risk projects with leading global organizations such as CG Power and Industrial Solutions Ltd. and PTI Transformers.

With a Master’s specialisation in Power Systems and published technical contributions with CIGRE and IEEE, he brings strong applied expertise in transformer engineering and design.
